Cost-effective connections
Connecting to the grid has traditionally meant high upfront costs.
We take a different approach as an IDNO.
Once we adopt your network, we generate long-term income through payments made to us by electricity suppliers. We pay you a proportion of our future income upfront at the point your project goes live.
This is called an Asset Value (AV) payment, a direct contribution to you for partnering with us.
You can quickly estimate your return using our Online Asset Value Portal, with prompt payment once your project is connected, allowing you to move quickly onto the next.

We work with you to balance cost, timelines, and technical requirements to find the right solution.
We’ve also reimagined the G81 delivery process, to give you more choice, while speeding up delivery and reducing costs.
For example, by sourcing modular substations built off-site and ready to install, we can significantly shorten delivery timelines.
