Our IDNO licence ensures we design and operate our networks to a defined standard of service, consistent with the incumbent Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). This ensures that all electricity users are treated equally, regardless of where they connect.
Battery storage & renewables
We connect battery energy storage systems and renewable energy projects of all sizes and voltages up to 132 kV.
These can be either regulated assets connecting to the grid or a private network connecting solar and other renewables to a microgrid.

From smaller edge data centres to huge hyperscalers, we’re working with developers to get their data centre connected as quickly as possible.
We think outside the box.
If a new grid application isn’t feasible for a project, we look at existing connections in the queue and test whether these can be repurposed to bring forward vital data centre projects.

We can even fund and deliver network upgrades to older networks, building sustainable networks to service your business needs.
Residential
We can help decarbonise the country’s new homes by bringing high-rises and housing estates onto the electricity grid. We don’t work on projects where there is a new gas connection: it’s part of our ESG principles. We think the future of home heating is electric, and we are ready to get your projects connected.
